"Self Portrait"

Thoughts sharper than a blade
Cruelly cutting the skin away
Warm blood slowly trickling
Pattering into a growing pool
During a starless night
Shame, guilt, and chagrin
Leading a contemptible demise
Grotesque ideas seething with pus and maggots
Overwhelming stench of a gangrenous laceration
Putrefying with toxic interpretations
Of what I am or could be

Gritty City

Lonely echoes of forgotten memories fading away
They die an endless death with languid corpses slowly rotting
Rusting components studding the landscape
Like children's toys that lay scattered in a playground
Romanticizing death for it is a radiant journey
There is no end only evolution

Obsolescent Sublimity

Regal Abate

Rampart Entwined

Polarity Ruminating Dissolution

Afflicted Realm

A Place Where Hobgoblins Can Comfortably Reside

The Vice and Folly

An Innocent Facet of which Perverse Whims Gradually Erode

Lucid Chemical Phantasm

Sri Yantra (In Progress)

Yantras come from the more than 2000 years old tantric tradition.
A yantra is the yogic equivalent of the Buddhist mandala.

Sri yantra is called the mother of all yantras because all other yantras derive from it.

The Sri Yantra is a configuration of nine interlacing triangles centred around the bindu (the central point of the yantra), drawn by the super imposition of five downward pointing triangles, representing Shakti ; the female principle and four upright triangles, representing Shiva ; the male principle.

Man's spiritual journey from the stage of material existence to ultimate enlightenment is mapped on the Sri Yantra. The spiritual journey is taken as a pilgrimage in which every step is an ascent to the center, a movement beyond one's limited existence, and every level is nearer to the goal.
Each of the circuits of the Sri Yantra, from the outer plane to the bindu (the center), corresponds with one of the stages of the spiritual journey.

The goal of contemplating the Sri Yantra is that the adept can rediscover his primordial sources. The circuits symbolically indicate the successive phases in the process of becoming.

Flower of Life - Happy 11:11:11 the Cosmic Alignment!

The Flower of Life symbol is considered to be sacred among many cultures around the world, both ancient and modern. Within this symbol can be found all the building blocks of the universe that we call the Platonic Solids. The symbol can be used as a metaphor to illustrate the connectedness of all life and spirit within the universe.

The flower of life holds a secret symbol created by drawing 13 circles out of the Flower of Life.
By doing this, one can discover the most important and sacred pattern in the universe. This is the source of all that exists; it's called the Fruit of Life. It contains 13 informational systems. Each one explains another aspect of reality. Thus these systems are able to give us access to everything ranging from the human body to the galaxies. In the first system, for example, it's possible to create any molecular structure and any living cellular structure that exists in the universe. In short every living creature.

This structure forms the basis for music, as the distances between the spheres is identical to the distances between the tones and the half tones in music. It is also identical to the cellular structure of the third embryonic division (The first cell divides into two cells, then to four cells then to eight). Thus this same structure as it is further developed, creates the human body and all of the energy systems including the ones used to create the Merkaba. If we continue creating more and more spheres we will end up with the structure called the Flower of Life.

The Flower of Life is a universal template with many lenses. When placed over the face of a common or ordinary circle or sphere, the Flower of Life maps a window into the unity of infinity and turns the ordinary into a revelation of the extraordinary.

Looking into the window of the Flower of Life challenges us to unify our mind, heart, and spirit. When we can truly see all life woven so intimately, we strengthen the embrace of the divine in our lives and we can transform our world through the vision of universal unity.

Dream Machine

A dreamachine is "viewed" with the eyes closed: the pulsating light stimulates the optical nerve and alters the brain's electrical oscillations. The user experiences increasingly bright, complex patterns of color behind their closed eyelids. The patterns become shapes and symbols, swirling around, until the user feels surrounded by colors. It is claimed that using a dreamachine allows one to enter a hypnagogic state.[4] This experience may sometimes be quite intense, but to escape from it, one needs only to open one's eyes.

Black|Red|White

Women have long been oppressed in society and have often been misheard and abused. In partnership with Osborne House - a local woman's shelter - we had shed light on the formerly stigmatized issue that plagues our society with silence. Black|Red|White was a multimedia awareness exhibit, as well as a fundraising art auction. Our focus was to educate on the learned cyles of "victim" and "abuser" through the use of three stages. These colours were interwoven throughout the course of the night through performance pieces, graphic art displays, and mood evoking music.
Colours and Themes:
Black: Imprisonment (Silence and Darkness)
Red: Anger (the Scars and Wounds of the oppressed)
White: Absolution (Freedom, and breaking the cycle)
Individually we live in silence.
Together, we show our scars are not in vain.
